BAD WORK ATTITUDE KILLS BUSINESSES IN NIGERIA

I recently went to a commercial bank on Oregun road (name withheld), the security man asked me to drop my bag in the locker, a statement that didn't come with a welcoming smile though i went on to do so but i discovered that the locker was filled with dust so i brought the matter to his attention. If i didn't have a plastic bag to lay underneath there was no way i could have agreed to put my bag in a dust filled locker. He didn't deem it fit to apologize on behalf of the bank but rather cried out that it was not his duty to clean. when i tried to correct him about his response he refused to be corrected and augured with me. Hmmm, so sad. Such a person will wonder why he has remained poor. The reason is not far fetch. He didn't see himself as part of the company, he is just there to receive salary at the end of the month. So many companies have many of such staffs. They don't add value, they devalue. If you have done everything right and still don't have the desired result, check your staffs, they might just be the reason all your efforts are fruitless. Those who see themselves as part of a company and act accordingly are the ones who move from mare gate men to CEO of the same company.
